▶ RANDOMIZATION
Bitmaps of individual bricks or tiles are randomly distributed into a pattern and can be newly combined, changed in type, color, position and appearance to create new variations of a material with the same bitmaps.
▶ MEMORY EFFICIENT
By creating textures with many bricks at rendertime by using less individual bricks, BRIX is using much less memory than comparable textures. It is possible to create materials with millions of tiles / bricks out of just a few bricks.
▶ NO MORE TILING
Because individual bricks are randomly spread across a large area, there are no typical tiling and repetition effects anymore.
▶ UNLIMITED NUMBER OF BRICKS
With BRIX its possible to create materials with hundred, hundred thousand or even millions of bricks, still using just a few individual bitmaps. The RAM usage only depends on the number of loaded individual bitmaps, not the number of final bricks in a wall.
▶ GIGAPIXEL TEXTURES
By reducing memory usage, its possible to use high resolution bitmaps for individual bricks and therefore to create textures with ultra high resolution up to several gigapixel
(1 Gigapixel = 1.000.000.000 Pixel).
▶ BOND PATTERNS
For the first time its possible to easily change bond patterns with textures based on photographed bitmaps. BRIX offers 15 different bond pattern types for walls, floors and interior tiles.

Individual bitmaps can be loaded into BRIX to create new materials with the customization features that BRIX offers.
▶ MATERIAL LIBRARY
BRIX includes 100 ready-to-use VRay and Standard materials ranging from standard walls, modern walls, old aged walls to stone floors, wood floors, interior tiles and roofs. The library consists of over 1.000 bricks each with diffuse, bump, alpha, displacement and reflection layer, resulting in over 5.000 hand edited bitmaps.
