1) Senior Internal 2D Project Lead / VFX Supervisor:
Ideal Candidate:
· Must have at least 3-5 years experience in compositing photo realistic visual effects for feature films and leading a team of artists.
· Must have a thorough knowledge of Fusion software.
· You have the ability to determine the best approach to solve compositing challenges and develop final overall look that far exceeds client expectations.
· Setup efficient shot templates & workflows for the artists based on the client approved look.
· Must have the ability to develop an extremely efficient project pipeline.
· Help problem solve technical issues.
· Should have strong aptitude for technical workflow challenges such as directory structure, file formats, naming conventions, scripts, automation tools, automated dailies, etc.
· Work closely with the VFX Producer & VFX Head of Production to determine shot schedules, targets and client reviews in order to meet all deadlines successfully.
· Manage the quality control for all final shots.
· Feature film experience a must.
· Must be able to communicate clearly & professionally with the client in English and with the team of artists in German.
2) Senior Compositors
Ideal Candidate:
· Minimum 3 years experience in compositing.
· Advanced abilities using Fusion software.
· Should have strong aptitude for technical workflow challenges such as directory structure, file formats, naming conventions, scripts, automation tools, automated dailies, etc.
· Ability to problem solve technical issues related to the pipeline, hardware, software & rendering.
· Desire to take on increasingly challenging shots.
· Willingness to help develop the team.
· Review and approve various stages of shots.
· Report directly to VFX Project Lead, VFX Producer & Head of VFX Production.
· Actively participate in team/production meetings.
· Feature Film Experience a must.
3) Intermediate Compositors
Ideal Candidate:
· Minimum 2-3 years experience in compositing.
· Should possess a keen artistic eye and skill for colour matching and accuracy.
· Fusion experience is preferred, however, other nodal based compositing software (example: Nuke) experience will be considered.
· Ability to take direction positively, work well within a team and under pressure.
· Actively participate in team/production meetings.
· Meet project deadlines & targets as set by production & project lead.
· Feature Film experience preferred
4) Junior Compositors
Ideal Candidate:
· Minimum 1 year experience in rotoscoping, keying &/or compositing.
· Should possess a keen eye and skill for accuracy.
· You are driven to learn from those around you and you are self motivated to create great work.
· Fusion experience is preferred, however, other nodal based compositing software (example: Nuke) experience is acceptable.
· Ability to take direction positively, work well within a team and work well under pressure from deadlines.
· Actively participate in team/production meetings.
· Meet project deadlines & targets as set by production & project lead.
5) Internship Positions for Compositors
Ideal Candidate:
· You are currently looking to gain experience as a 2D Compositor in the field of visual effects.
· You must have a desire to learn and take direction from those around you.
· Some 2D Compositing software experience required.
